Our value chain

We believe in change. And you?

Our daily mission is to do everything possible to improve our value chain and create clothes that make sense.

It is in a holistic approach that we try to find sustainable solutions at each stage of the manufacturing process. Transparency is the key to more responsible fashion and to facing current environmental challenges. Through the choice of quality materials and by associating with ethical partners, we share with you here the life cycle of your clothes.

Buy Less, Choose Well and Make it Last, Vivienne Westwood

Our goal is to bring timeless pieces to your wardrobe that can be worn for years.
We favor quality and it is for this reason that we have chosen to offer you collections in limited quantities in order to focus on the design of the garment and its functionality.
Through our approach, we encourage each person to consume less while choosing better.

The materials

More sustainable and ethical materials, grown with respect for nature.

The choice of our materials is crucial in the design of our clothing because it has an impact on its lifespan. The mix of natural and innovative biological fabrics allows our collections to be part of a circular economy intention and to better manage the planet's resources.
The materials that we have carefully selected for your clothes:
Organic cotton : cotton is one of the most used materials in the textile industry. We have chosen to use organic cotton to the detriment of conventional cotton which is more respectful for the environment and people. Thus, the cotton we have selected is certified to ensure compliance with working conditions and to verify the use of certain toxic products.
In addition, the organic cotton fiber is softer and more flexible than conventional cotton, it gives your clothes a silkier finish for optimal comfort.
Recycled polyester: Recycled polyester can come from used clothing, fabric scraps or plastic bottles. Its use in the manufacture of our pieces makes it possible to reduce our environmental impact and to give a second life to polyester.
In addition to its more moderate environmental impact than conventional polyester, recycled polyester fibers allow the garment to hold better. We combine it with cotton in some of our pieces to give them sturdiness and therefore a longer life expectancy.

The production

The manufacturers we work with are located in Europe and more particularly in Portugal, with the aim of supporting local manufacturing and creating proximity and a relationship of trust with our partners.
We also choose to work with certified suppliers who implement measures to reduce their environmental impact. The choice of our partners is based on common values, the same vision of the future and equivalent environmental standards.

Quality being an essential element in the design of our clothes, we go there regularly to visit the workshops and assess a number of factors such as the quality of the clothes, the working conditions, the respect of environmental standards.
This system allows us to collectively improve our value chain to meet current challenges together.

Today, packaging has a socio-environmental impact just as much as the production of clothing. It is everyone's responsibility to act on their own scale. At ELLEN P STUDIO, we are proud to be able to offer you recycled, recyclable and reusable packaging.*

We fight against plastic and single-use packaging, which ends up in the trash at best and at worst in nature. This is why it was essential to opt for a more responsible option such as our reusable pouches. Waterproof, they can be used and reused as you wish.

We strive to constantly improve ourselves in order to offer you the most responsible and functional innovative solutions possible while protecting your clothes on the way to your home.

* All materials are made from recycled plastic and paper and are also recyclable.

And after ?

Because the race for growth in production and consumption is still on, we are beginning to see a shift in the circularity of products.

We are currently trying to develop solutions in order to participate in the improvement of our process and to limit the waste of clothes.
